Adventure Dog

The Adventure Dog © is a 3-hour outing where the dog goes on a nature hike or to a dog park with a maximum of five other dogs. This gives the dog(s) an opportunity to socialize with other dogs and get more exercise. The 3 hours includes time for the sitter to pick up all of the dogs and drop them back off. Before Zen Paws Pet Sitting, Inc. accepts a dog to the Adventure Dog program, we do a FREE meet and greet with one or two of the other dogs that will be joining them to make sure the dogs all get along. There is no guarantee that a dog will get along in the socialization process, and dogs may nip other dogs or get nipped by other dogs. After the initial meet and greet an additional meet and greet may be necessary, or it may be determined that your pet is not a good fit for that specific group of pets. Your sitter will need to make that determination and will keep you notified. It is also a good idea for you to be available to participate in the decision regarding moving forward or not based on how the dogs are getting along. Walks may not be available due to weather. For example, Zen Paws Pet Sitting, Inc. does not offer extended walks in extreme weather conditions (too hot or too cold) because we do not want to harm the pet(s). Under those conditions, the pet sitter spends time with the pet(s) at an indoor facility.
