The doggy flu is going around and it’s worse this year!
The flu can be spread as easily as a dog jumping up on your leg and getting saliva on your pants. Then the next dog that jumps up and licks your pants is exposed. Our staff is trained specifically to deal with canine flu and how NOT to spread it. After each visit our sitters wash their hands. As an extra safety precaution our staff is required to have their own pets vaccinated each year.
The same training and care is taken with the Lepto virus. It’s highly contagious and can jump to humans. Our staff is trained to take precautions to avoid the spread of the Lepto virus and have their pets vaccinated so they don’t enter your home with the virus on them.
We take every precaution to keep your pets safe, and this is one more reason to use an in-home pet sitting service vs. a kennel. Exposure to illness is minimal with in-home pet sitting.
